After graduating from Bentley University with a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Carol made Cape Cod her forever home, and has been working as an accountant for Kinlin Grover Compass Real Estate. Juggling a full-time career while raising a family of four, she also made time for community service, including the Board of Nauset Music Boosters. Death and dying was always a taboo subject in Carol’s life. After having a positive experience when visiting her great grandmother after she passed in her own bed at home, Carol was discouraged to discover that death was perceived by others as negative and scary, and not a topic for discussion. Finding the Lily House was a breath of fresh air—offering a chance to bring beauty and compassion to our shared mortality. Carol is thankful to serve as treasurer and for the opportunity to share The Lily House vision and mission with others.
