Jeanne Santos

When Jeanne was in grade school, she had her first encounter with death—an aunt who died at home. Jeanne recalls responding with feelings of respect and acceptance—not fear. With a calling for care-giving, Jeanne attended Boston College School of Nursing where she earned her credentials as a Registered Nurse. Her nursing career has included work in acute care settings, long-term care nursing, school nursing, case management, and most recently travel nursing on COVID crisis teams. Jeanne has provided bedside care to many during the dying process, both in medical settings as a nurse and for her own family members at home. Born and raised in Provincetown, Jeanne brings a deep love for this place she calls home.
